Byrchwood is an energetic blues-rock band from Friesland with expressive guitar, bass and drumming.

Tim Birkenholz is a guitarist, singer and producer who has gained name and experience in the Dutch music scene in recent years with Electric Hollers, Ralph de Jongh, Ruben Hoeke, Bluesworld Collective and solo performances. With Electric Hollers he released 3 albums together, was in the finals of the Dutch Blues Challenge and has been in support gigs for Ten Years After, King of The World and Ruben Hoeke, among others. He has played with Ralph de Jongh on several albums and has performed with him at Zwarte Cross and Paradiso Amsterdam, among others. 60s/70s inspired songs made alive by a power trio in an energetic live performance. Peter ten Wolde on drums and Abe Alberts on bass as a thundering rhythm section that takes you straight back to the grooving rhythm sections of the 60s/70s. It is an experience in which improvisation and playing in the moment are central. A fresh, own and free performance of the different sounds of blues and rock that can be placed in the styles of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Grand Funk Railroad, Ten Years After, Cream and The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
