The Imaginaries are the Oklahoma-based husband-and-wife duo of Shane Henry and Maggie McClure, blending blues-rock grit with lush Americana and soaring pop sensibilities. Known for their tight vocal harmonies and dynamic stage presence, the pair create music that’s bold, heartfelt and unmistakably theirs.
Their sophomore album Fever (out August 22) features 12 tracks packed with bluesy riffs, emotional ballads and appearances from guitar greats like Vince Gill, Joe Bonamassa and Ariel Posen. Rooted in the Muscle Shoals tradition, the record captures the spirit of their journey—from early struggles in LA to sharing stages with the likes of Judy Collins, John Waite and the Brian Setzer Orchestra.
In addition to their work as performers, Maggie and Shane are also prolific creatives behind the scenes, with over 75 film and TV syncs, a Christmas album, and original soundtracks to multiple films. Shane also co-founded boutique pedal brand Westerlund Audio, while Maggie works as a music supervisor.
Their music evokes Tom Petty, Fleetwood Mac and Bonnie Raitt, but The Imaginaries are carving out a sound and story all their own—equal parts rootsy charm and rock-and-roll fire.
